Dandenong Ranges is a beautiful place to work & live, however design limitations due to bushfire regulations require innovative solutions. A clever combination of materials and creative thinking fulfilled the design brief of a period-style residence that will be a family legacy for generations to come.
A basement garage and cellar take advantage of the natural ground contours. Settling above, a wrap-around timber deck encompasses formal dining & lounge areas complete with feature brick fireplaces, a new kitchen & butlers pantry. Entering from the front porch and stepping through the front door, an expansive hallway hints of what lays beyond; with renovated bedrooms, box bay windows, bathrooms, laundry & study completing this expansive renovation.
